Rated 5 SBI has a wide Branches across India. Their Service is nice. For every Person who need to save their money in bank account. First they open a savings account and that too they open in SBi. It has good Customer base. Transactions are secured and fast compared to other Nationalized Banks. I recommend anyone can easily open a account in SBI without any hassles.

Rated 3 SBI... the name is trust but lacking fast and furious services as compared to other private banks. Banking is good but if you are not using online services, the feeling is hell. For deposting money, huge queue is there with no document available no pen. FD rates is also on the lower side as compared to Pvt banks. if you call their customer care, god knows, when you can contact their executive. But overall, the only thing bind us it Trust with the bank, as it considered with Govt of India.
Rated 5 Over the passing years, Sbi has become more and more costumer hostile. They levy service charges for evrything and nothing. Also, atms are poorly maintained. Yhe only upside is they have brancjes in almosta ll the villages and cities in India.

The company is ranked 216th on theFortune Global 500list of the world's biggest corporations as of 2017.TheState Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur,State Bank of Hyderabad,State Bank of Mysore,State Bank of PatialaandState Bank of Travancore, andBharatiya Mahila Bankwere merged with State Bank of India with effect from 1 April 2017. Though its has rich in all the above aspets but it is poor in customers satisfaction. It has bulk amount of ATM's but with little amount of money in it.Less branches in villages which makes a certain person to withdarw money about 3hrs.
The main drawback is it will make the customers unhappy with its charges.Present I am using SBI debit card which charges 20RS/withdraw or charge in using card other than its branch ATM which is a main drawback.
So these are the pros and cons of SBI.

Rated 3 Digital banking is very good and time saving but at the branch they are not work efficiently.. Too slow as they come under government..
Rated 1 Visited a near by branch in Mumbai for loan enquiry. Staff over there was too busy to give any required information. Worst experience....feels like typical government office.

i wish SBI do beat the international banks in term of quality and quantity both
Rated 3.5 SBI being the most trusted , widespread and large banking organization in India, we all expects a lot of thing from it. In rural areas people blindly go to SBI for any of their banking need. SBI. Now a days in most of the branches of the major cities provides a decent service to their customers. However in the likes of private players like citibank, hdfc bank SBI needs to improve their online service a more robust and userfriendly. In recent past , this also has improved a lot, but there is a need for improvement.

The area where bank need to improve the most is their employees. It needs proper training system to be placed and employees need to know how to behave with their customers.

Recently A district consumer forum has held the SBI guilty of deficiency in service for debiting money from a bank account despite a failed ATM withdrawal and awarded a compensation of Rs 3,000 to the account holder. Besides awarding the compensation, the consumer forum in Akola district also directed the bank to refund the wrongly debited amount of Rs 5,000 and pay Rs 2,000 towards legal cost to the account holder.

The same kind of incident happened to me as well when bank wrongly issues a cheque of lesser amount than what it should to my hosue builder. By the time my builder made me aware and I get the bank issued a second cheque for rest of the amount, the last date was over. As a result I end up payimg a fine rs 2600 to the builder comoany.
